Understanding Barriers to Inclusion of People with Disabilities
All along, the topic of disability and technology has often been dominated by industry experts. On the one hand, many technologies that seem to be invented for people with disabilities or marketed as serving them may not necessarily understand the real needs of people with disabilities. On the other hand, many people with disabilities also participate in technological production, engaging in professions related to high technology, and from different perspectives, they have the right to speak on this topic.
We hope that people with disabilities continue speaking out, sharing their experiences related to technology, and eliminating public misunderstandings about disabilities.
